The Perfect Kiss
Chapter 2
Other common, fun types of kissing include the blown or thrown
variety. Your lover kisses their hand and blows it to you from across
the room. You pretend to catch the kiss with your hand and put it
on your lips. A similar version of this can be used on the phone
when your lover is long distance. For an Eskimo Kiss, stand or sit
face to face with your partner and rub your noses together.
There are no right or wrong ways to kiss but here are a few tips
that might help you and your partner to become better kissers.
1- Keep good oral hygiene. Brush and floss your teeth regularly
and visit your dentist.
2- If you eat strong smelling foods or drink alcohol, brush your
teeth and use mouthwash before a romantic interlude, unless you
know that your partner doesn't mind that particular smell.
3- If you smoke and your partner doesn't, keep in mind that your
partner may not like the taste of cigarettes; so freshen your breath
beforehand!
4- Women- Lipstick wearers! Be prepared to wipe your lipstick off
or be prepared to be wearing it all over your face. Some men might
prefer you remove it as a result of the waxy taste (though few men
will complain if they are actually getting kissed!).
5- Men- if you are unshaven, keep in mind that the stubble on your
face is like rubbing on a sheet of sandpaper. Shave in advance of
intense kissing if you can.
6- Explore your lovers mouth, but try to avoid banging into their
teeth as this definitely feels rather unpleasant.
7- Be a responsive kisser. It is frustrating to your partner if
you are too slack mouthed and are not responding to their kisses.
8- Don't be overly aggressive. You are not trying to swallow your
partners head.
9- Remember to swallow occasionally. No one enjoys a slobbery kiss.
10- Most importantly-Don't forget to breathe! Breathing through
your nose is best but may be difficult during cold or allergy season.
You can generally find a way to incorporate taking a breath between
kisses without interrupting the kiss.
11- Don't spend all of your time in one place! Moving to a new area
not only gives you a chance to catch your breath but provides variety
and interest.
12- Pay special attention to the neck and ears. An excellent technique
is to kiss extremely lightly on the neck while allowing the heat
of your breath send shivers down your lover's spine. Move next to
the ears utilizing the same technique and adding light touches of
the tongue which gradually may probe deeper within the ear. Note:
While this ear technique has been known to drive many people wild,
others can't stand it. Be sure to be attentive your partner's responses.
The ability to concentrate on what you are doing while simultaneously
monitoring how your mate is reacting and responding to those reactions
is the hallmark of a good lover.
So pucker up and put your best face forward! Kissing is one of
the most enjoyable and intimate ways to spend time with your partner.
It is an art that can turn your lovers knees into jelly if you learn
your partner's likes and address them effectively. Whether you are
trying to seduce your lover or you just saying "I love you",
your message will be clear. Remember, it's all in your kiss.
